Internal Communications and L&d Partner

We have a brand new role for an Internal Communications and Learning and Development Partner. This role will focus on developing our employee capability and ensuring effective communication using a variety of channels.

Key responsibilities within Internal Communications will be to:

  • Establish an internal communications strategy

  • Ensure business strategy and organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to all employees

  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly newsletters or regular email bulleti

  • Organise annual commercial day and events, produce presentations for speaker

  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the business

  • Respond to feedback from staff

  • Lead social committee, ‘think green’ & sustainability

  • Company branding & all company paperwork

 Key responsibilities within Learning and Development will be to:

  • Create and deliver training events for all employees, from inductions to management programmes

  • Create training programmes that are aligned with the organisation’s objectives and strategy

  • Is the ‘go to’ within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding training and development plans

  • Work closely with all areas of the business to have a full understanding of their teams and training requirements

  • Develop the annual training plan

  • Embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching

  • Work within allocated budget and finds solutions in order to implement the required training needs Builds relationships with 3rd party training providers

  • Regularly review L&D provision to demonstrate impact and return on investment

 What are we looking for?

This role is a great opportunity for an existing Learning and Development Manager or Senior L&D Adviser looking for a move into a dynamic fast paced retail environment. Previous experience within the Retail sector would be ideal. Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified or equivalent.

Ideally, you will be from a retail background, with significant experience in internal communications, management, development and talent training as well as designing and supplying a variety training in different styles.

Additional key skills are as follows;

  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral

  • Ability to present to large audiences

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners

  • Proven organisational skills

  • Experience of managing budgets

  • Line management experience

Overall you must have a passion for the fashion industry especially jewellery as a whole and be able to build your own networks to positively promote brands.
