Brand Marketing Manager
What you will be doing…
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Brand Marketing Manager at DCK. Reporting to the Associate Director – Brands, this role is responsible for the achievement of the Group’s brand marketing strategy through development and implementation of all business and brand marketing plans and overall creative direction and synergy of all visual content. In addition, you will ensure all activity fits with our customer profile and overall concept for the brand as well as measuring and analysing the cost benefit of all brand marketing activity.
Key responsibilities will be to:
Shape and lead the brand marketing strategy and plans to increase brand awareness
Drive growth across brands, through relevant channels, activities and events
Lead the creative development of brand multi-channel campaign platforms to ensure brands are showcased in a manner that reflects the integrity, look and feel of the brand and enables achievement of the specific objectives for the campaign or event
Oversee the brand activity (organic and paid) on social channels to ensure posts fit with customer demographics and the customer profile of the brand, enabling the business to exploit the psychology behind the customer and their behaviours
Own the development of the brand tools and alongside the Head of Creative, be the brand guardian, to ensure that the brand is always presented correctly across the business and externally
Ensure across the creative team, all creative briefs comply with critical path, budgets and time lines whilst working cross functionally across the business and externally to achieve required business objectives
Work with the Associate Director – Brands to stimulate creativity and innovation in the Group, to enable the business to remain an industry lead
Be on the pulse of global creative culture, identifying key strategic brand partnerships, influencers, designers, lifestyle trends, collaborations and networks to generate collaborative opportunities
Work closely with the Manager for Social media and public relations to ensure customers are regularly engaged through meaningful brand moments. If necessary assist with responding to customer queries, through timely and appropriate responses
Implement reporting systems to measure the efficiency and commercial success of campaigns to enable transparency of spend and to identify where value is being added
Direct and manage the creative team, to ensure the creative content of their work, photography, graphics and styling meet the brand marketing strategy requirements of the Group, enabling increased sales through the use of appropriative creative mediums, ensuring correct styling and brand identity
Work with the brand marketing team and in consultation with the business, ensure all assignments are delivered to budget, meet time-lines and are positively received by the host
Ensure the overall aesthetics and visual content and written content of the brand, including websites, ensuring correct, timely input from all interested parties, enabling the imagery and content to remain, fresh, exciting and stimulating for the customer.
Ensure web development and management enables websites to run effectively,
with updates and amendments being achieved to agreed timeline and to budget
What we are looking for?
This role is perfect for someone currently working in a similar role within Marketing ideally within the fashion industry. You’ll be degree educated: ideally within a relevant marketing or fashion area or have similar industry qualification.
Whatever your previous experience you will be;
Highly creative with ability to think out of the box,
Able to translate from design to production
Up to date with latest trends and marketing best practices
“Can do” person and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheet
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate competently and accurately, both orally and in writing
A competent line manager who drives for results
Team player who is able to work cross functionally with a flexible approach that enables others to achieve
Overall you must have a passion for the fashion industry especially jewellery as a whole and be able to build your own networks to positively promote brands.
